Native Hawaiians block construction of telescope on Mauna Kea - lanikai-beach.net

Hawaiians call this dormant volcano , and many consider it sacred.
Only high-ranking chiefs and priests are allowed to climb it.
Now, Native Hawaiian protesters are blocking the a billion-dollar , this sacred land.
But, the state’s governor has signed an emergency proclamation granting police the power to clear the site.
