Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano produced a series of nearly 1,000 foot high lava fountains, with this representing a major milestone; Kilauea’s 50th eruptive episode since episodic activity began at its summit in late December 2024. Today’s video discusses this milestone, gives statistics, and the series of events within episode 50.
