Professional eater Randy Santel vs Aina Grill's overstuffed 6lb Hawaiian Loco Moco Burrito challenge hosted by Aina Grill in sunny Waipahu, Oahu, Hawaii!! @KatinaEatsKilos and I left on January 17, 2023 to begin a giant 5-6 month international eating challenge tour. Stop #1 was Las Vegas, Nevada where I attempted 4 huge and delicious man vs food restaurant challenges. Then we headed to Honolulu, Hawaii where I attempted 5 different tasty man v food eating challenges around the island of Oahu, Hawaii. For food challenge #3, we headed to Aina Grill in Waipahu just outside of Honolulu, so we could each attempt their massive and delicious overstuffed 6lb Hawaiian Loco Moco Burrito Challenge which had only been beaten twice since it started a few year prior. I had just 30 minutes to feast on 2 large burrito tortillas filled with over 3lbs of Hawaiian fried rice with diced red, green, and yellow peppers, plus five 1/4 pound beef hamburger patties. The giant burrito was served wet and covered with lots of melted cheese sauce, brown gravy, and 4 over-easy fried eggs. The burrito weighed around 5lbs total and was served with 3 big softball-sized scoops of creamy homemade Hawaiian macaroni salad, totaling around 1lb, bringing the whole challenge up to 6 pounds total. I was trying to become just the 4th champion to win my $45 loco moco burrito meal free, plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on Aina Grill's Wall of Fame!! BIG thanks to everyone with Aina Grill for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! Special thanks also to all the wonderful people from around the Waipahu and Honolulu, Hawaii areas who came up that Wednesday evening to watch and meet us!!
