Aloha Stadium Swap Meet is normally open on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. But due to Covid-19, the schedules may vary, so check its website at https://alohastadium.hawaii.gov/featured/dine-shop-pop-up-at-aloha-stadium-swap-meet-marketplace/. This is the best place to buy souvenirs and other local products while enjoying the Hawaiian sunshine.
After shopping at the swap meet, we headed to Leonard’s Malasadamobiles at Koko Marina Shopping Center, 7190 Kalanianaole Highway. By far, this is the best malasadas we’ve ever had and we highly recommend trying their treats. They’re best eaten right away, so they may not be best after 6 hours flight back to the mainland (if you live in California).
We had a wonderful time in Hawaii and especially with our friends. Although we were restricted by the coronavirus guidelines and regulations, we are still blessed to have spent this time in Hawaii. We came back healthy and no issues.
When you come to the islands, always respect the guidelines and especially the people and their culture.
