Mele Fong teaches how to play the traditional Hawaiian Aloha No Wau I Ko Maka. Learn how to form on and off base ukulele chords in the key of F with 5-chords, and how to strum two unique Waltz Strums: Thumb Strum Up Strum Up and Chicken Pluck Pluck. This traditional Hawaiian was composed in the 1800s by Prince Leleiohoku for a Japanese maiden he loved. The original music arranged by Sonny Cunha with copyright 1902 has two verses and a chorus. This adds one of the two English verses published in the He Mele Aloha Songbook in 2003 and is played with two Waltz Strums for ‘ukulele.
