Aloha kākou!

We are Hiroshi Okada Hawaiian Music School.
We love ‘Ukulele, Hawaiʻi and Hawaiian Music!

Song title is “Kū Haʻaheo E Kuʻu Hawaiʻi”.
Composed by Kumu Hinaleimoana Wong.
Before we start this song, Hiroshi asked composer we can sing and play with ʻukulele or not.
Because version has only Pahu(Hawaiian drum) or no instruments.
Nobody sing with ʻukulele this song 4 years ago.

Her answer is okay!!!

We sing this song with aloha and respect Hawaiian people and Hawaiian culture.

We didn’t strum on very ending.
Because we pray for Hawaiian people can keep going to forward forever.

We are Japanese but we want to “HOE” with Hawaiian people.

We believe it’s our “KULEANA”.

Arigato for giving us this precious experience.
