mele Fong aka Ukulele Mele tells the story behind the song Let Me Call You Sweetheart. Composed in 1910, the song became one of the largest selling songs in sheet music at the time. It was composed by Leo Friedman (1869-1927) of Illinois and lyricist Beth Slater Whitson (1879-1930) of Tennessee.
