This Hawaiian song was a gift to Queen Victoria in 1887. In 1887, King Kalakaua sent his wife Queen Kapiolani and his sister Princess Liliuokalani to represent the Hawaiian kingdom at the Queen Victoria’s 50th Jubilee in London. Princess Lili’uokalani wrote this song as a gift.
