This hapa haole song (Hawaiian style music with English words) was written in 1919 by F.B. Silverwood and David Linderman. The subtitle “Honolulu Expects you in 1922” is written on the original sheet music. It was issued under the sanction of the Chamber of Commerce of Honolulu by Aloha Temple, probably for a Shriners Convention that year.
