The song tells of its luxury accommodations and beauty located along the beach at Waikiki. Known as the “Pink Palace of the Pacific” due to its rose-colored exterior and Spanish-Moorish architecture, the Royal Hawaiian Hotel served as the island playground for the world's rich and famous.
