This Hawaiian love song was composed by Alice Everett, a contemporary of Queen Lili'uokalani, in 1882. Sung as a duet, the song was also used as a solo by island prima donnas. In 1915, Hawaiian musicians touring at the Panama-Pacific Exposition in San Francisco made the song popular. The video is just under 7-minutes long.
