Mele’s arrangement of Jingle Bells is in C in ¾ time and 4/4-time signatures using 2 different strums for ‘ukulele.
This Christmas song was written in 1857 by J. Pierpont for a Thanksgiving program where he taught Sunday school. The children’s performance was such a hit that they were asked to repeat it at Christmas time.
