The Ahahui is a royal society of Native Hawaiian women honoring Queen Ka’ahumanu, King Kamehameha’s favorite wife and more. Mele has been a member in good standing since 2004 and has served as chapter historian telling Hawaiian history stories at monthly membership meetings.
