Mele’s arrangement of Rockin’ Robin is in F with I Wanna Chuck Strum for ‘ukulele.
This popular song was the only Top 40 Hit recorded by Bobby Day in 1958, whose sound was a hybrid of pop, rhythm, and blues. His innocent, upbeat songs were a great fit for Michael Jackson, whose 1972 recording of Rockin’ Robin went to Number 2 in the U.S.
