Here's a ukulele arrangement of the very famous Hawaiian song ‘Aloha ‘Oe', written by Queen Lili'oukalani. I am a big fan of many of Lili'uokalani's songs and loved making a nice advanced friendly arrangement of the melody and chords for this song. There are also, a beginner, novice and intermediate level arrangements of this song in my website, so that you can learn it in your difficulty level.
Queen Lili'uokalani wrote this song in 1878, after seeing two lovers hug in a farewell parting, and that emotional scene inspired her to write ‘Aloha Oe', which means ‘Farewell to thee'.
Queen Lili'uokalani was the last queen of the Hawaiian Kingdom before United States invaded the island.
