Mele’s arrangement of Kaulana Na Pua is in F and C with Latin Strum for ‘ukulele.

This Hawaiian song was composed by Ellen Wright Prendergast in 1893 under the title “Mele Ai Pohaku” meaning eating song. The song protested the overthrow of Queen Lili’uokalani and opposed annexation to the United States.
