During our feb 2022 trip to Oahu, we booked a guided kayak tour to the Mokulua Islands (tour linked below) and it turned out to be the best decision. The tour departed from Kailua Beach, which is just about 30 minute drive from Waikiki. Goose, our awesome guide, shared a mix of Hawaiian history and mythology surrounding the islands while also getting us acquainted with all the unique sea creatures that call the Mokes home. As a bonus, we were lucky enough to observe honu (sea turtles) as we snorkeled off the shore of Moku Nui.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone with moderate fitness and who is looking for an ocean activity in Oahu. You will not regret it!
