This week, my sister’s family of 4 has been visiting Oahu for a week. We went surfing yesterday and kayaking today to Flat Island (across the Kailua Beach) and Lanikai Beach. It’s probably my 6th time to the Island. Weather turned out to be excelled with some breeze and temperatures at mid-80s F. Back in May, we spotted a few shearwater bird nests with chicks inside, however, today, we did not see any of the birds ! Luckily, we spotted a few green turtles paddling to the Lanikai beach.
