Aloha all! My name is Alexus and I am a second year PhD student studying Biological Oceanography at University of Hawaii at Mānoa in Honolulu, Hawaii. I am back with a weekly vlog about my life as a graduate student living in Oahu (summer edition).
In this week’s PhD vlog, I return to my graduate work after a two week break. During the day, I work 9-5 in the lab processing zooplankton biomass samples that I collected on my most recent cruise. When I am not working, I spend the day at a beach house in North Shore, watch the sunrise at Lanikai Beach, hike Pali Notches, tan at Waimanalo Beach, go to acro at Waikiki Beach, drink my green juice, and build puzzles.
Thank you all so much for watching and I hope you enjoyed it!
