Summer in Hawaii | Lanikai Sunrise, Pali Notches, Beach -

Aloha all! name is Alexus and I am a second year PhD student studying Biological Oceanography at University of Hawaii at Mānoa in Honolulu, Hawaii. I am back with a weekly vlog about my life as a graduate student living in Oahu (summer edition).

In this week’s PhD vlog, I return to graduate work a two week break. During the day, I work 9-5 in the lab processing zooplankton biomass samples that I collected on most recent cruise. When I am working, I spend the day at a beach house in North Shore, the sunrise at Lanikai Beach, hike Pali Notches, tan at Waimanalo Beach, go to acro at Waikiki Beach, drink green juice, and build puzzles.

Thank all so much for watching and I hope you enjoyed it!
