Day 3 of our honeymoon we traveled to the east side of the island to go kayaking in Lanikai Beach. We explored a botanical garden that had amazing green mountains everywhere. Then we drove a small way to get to the Byodo-In Temple, which is a replica of a 900 year old Buddhist temple from Japan. For dinner we ate at Haleiwa Joe’s which felt like a T-Rex would join in too.
