Our favorite beaches of Oahu, Waikiki, Lanikai, Makapu’u ,Halona beach & our fav Keawaula bay! － lanikai-beach.net

We went to Oahu to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary!!! There were several beaches that we just really fell in love with.
1. One of the most famous beaches in the world, Waikiki Beach has the most beautiful sunsets!!
2. Lanikai Beach is set on Oahu's windward coast, this gorgeous white sand beach offers incredible waters and the picturesque presence of two small, offshore islands. White fluffy sand!
3. Makapu'u Beach is located on the east side of Oahu. Beautiful clear blue water!!
4. Halona Beach Cove sits below the famous blow hole, and is sometimes referred to as Oahu Secret Beach, because you cannot see it from the road when driving past. It is also known as Eternity beach (famous kissing scene shot here in the 1950's with Burt Lancaster). Loved this beach and it was so much fun climbing on the volcanic rock. We saw beautiful sea turtles there!
5.Popularly known as Yokohama, Keawaula bay is the last sandy stretch on the west shore. Its curvy beach and turquoise waters are a great spot to sunbathe and watch surfers and dolphins. If you're an avid hiker, nearby Kaena Point offers a trail with rewarding ocean views. This was our favorite beach!!!
